A little bit about me…
Hi, I’m Oliver, and welcome to Harestone Studio,
I’ve always described my woodworking journey as the antidote to my 20+ year corporate career.
Having been desk and office bound for the majority of that time, coupled with countless hours spent on trains, planes and taxi’s, the opportunity to pick up my tools and make furniture is quite literally a dream come true.
I know how unbelievably fortunate I am to do this, and its the thought of being stuck behind a computer that drives me to make the very best pieces for my customers.

Design philosophy
I’m firmly in the KISS club, so simple, classic lines are often what we’d recommend for a modern contemporary look.
That said, to create a truly innovative piece of furniture, we sometimes have to think outside the box (literally). Curves, sweeping lines, exposed joinery, contrasting materials and exotic woods all form part of the experience.
The real key to making any design really pop, is to pair it with the right materials. We work tirelessly and extensively to get the right blend of woods, the right grain, fixings and finishes to nail every project.
